How it works
What yoga classes involves here
Two Saturday classes and a private option. Here is what each one is, how the packs work, and how to book.

Posture Core Yoga, for people who sit all week
A dynamic but supported class. The work goes into the core, the hips and the muscles that hold the spine upright, and into letting go of the tension that builds through a week at a desk. Poses are scaled to the person in front of the instructor, so a first timer and a regular can share the same room.
Chair Yoga, for seniors, beginners and anyone recovering
The same principles at a gentler pace, with a chair for support. Most of the class is seated or standing beside the chair, so nobody has to get down to the floor. It is built for older adults, for people new to exercise, for pregnant women, and for anyone with limited mobility or coming back from a break.
Private one to one yoga, by appointment
A session built around you rather than a class plan: posture, stress, balance, breathwork and relaxation in whatever mix suits what you bring. It suits people with a specific concern, people whose week does not fit a Saturday slot, and anyone who simply prefers individual attention. Message us and we will find a time and quote the fee.
Booking a class or a pack
Message us on WhatsApp with which Saturday you want and whether you are new. We confirm which of the two classes runs that week. Pay for a single class on the day, or buy a pack of three or six and use it across either class.

What people say after being seen here

Hishamuddin Badaruddin5 months ago As a medical doctor, I myself, like my fellow doctors, am usually my very own worst patient. I came to see DC Valerie with a back pain which I should have sorted out weeks ago. I was in KL for a short day trip and decided to get treatment as I had the afternoon free. I initially contacted another chiropractic clinic who did not have any slots open but recommended Dr Valerie. Well Dr Valerie is knowledgeable - diagnosed my scoliosis and that my right shoulder pain was due to my mid-thoracic region and that my back pain was due to other issues. Highly recommended and worth it! Need several sessions and self awareness for posture and flexibility - and back strengthening.

What really set Dr. Rynn apart was how amazing he was at explaining everything. He broke down exactly what was going on with my spine and walked me through the entire treatment plan so I never felt left in the dark. The best part? I was able to get my consultation and treatment done all on the same day. The adjustment itself was fantastic, and I felt instant relief in my lower back the moment it was done. It’s rare to find a practitioner who combines top-tier expertise with such a great bedside manner. If you are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and efficient chiropractor, do yourself a favor and see Dr. Rynn. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone!

She has become more responsive, and it has honestly changed the way we think about pediatric chiropractic care. We’re so glad we followed their recommendation to see Dr. Valerie, who specializes in pediatric chiropractic. Thank you for your care and dedication!

Choosing between them
Posture Core Yoga or Chair Yoga
Both run on Saturday at 4:00pm, on alternating weeks, and a class pack covers either. The difference is pace, and where you start from.
| What is being compared | Posture Core Yoga | Chair Yoga |
|---|---|---|
| Who it suits | Office workers with a stiff back or neck, and anyone who wants a stronger core and better posture. | Seniors, beginners, pregnant women, and anyone with limited mobility or coming back from time off. |
| Pace | Dynamic but supported. You will work, and the instructor scales each pose. | Gentle. Most of the class is seated or uses the chair for balance. |
| What the hour is aimed at | Core strength, spinal stability and releasing the tension that builds up from sitting. | Flexibility, circulation and balance, with the breath slowed down along the way. |
| Starting from the floor | Yes, on a mat, standing and lying down. | No. Everything is done from or beside a chair, so getting down to the floor is not required. |
Neither is the better class, and plenty of people try both across a six class pack. If you are unsure, tell us your age, what you do all day and anything that hurts, and we will say which Saturday to come.
Being straight with you
Who yoga classes is for, and who it is not
This is likely a good fit if…
- You want a small class in a clinic, run alongside chiropractors and physiotherapists, rather than a large studio floor.
- You want to be told which of the two classes suits you before you buy a pack.
- You are happy with one class a week, on a Saturday afternoon.
- You want a chiropractic or physiotherapy assessment available in the same building if something starts to hurt.
It is likely not the right fit if…
- You want a full timetable of daily classes across many styles. We run one class each Saturday.
- You want hot yoga, aerial yoga or a fast flow. Both classes are posture and mobility work, and one is done from a chair.
- You want yoga to stand in for the assessment a new or worsening pain needs.
- You need a fixed price for private sessions before messaging. Private yoga is quoted on request.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Which yoga class should I start with?
If you sit all week and want to get stronger, start with Posture Core Yoga. If you are older, new to exercise, pregnant, or getting down to the floor is a problem, start with Chair Yoga. The two alternate on Saturdays, so whichever is on first is a fair place to begin, and a pack of six covers both. If you are still unsure, message us with your age, what you do all day and anything that hurts, and we will say which week to come.
Do I need to be a patient of the clinic to join a yoga class?
No. The classes are open to anyone. Being inside a clinic means a chiropractor or a physiotherapist is available if something hurts, but you do not need an appointment with either to book a class.
How much does a yoga class cost?
A drop in class is RM55. A pack of three classes is RM138 and is for one person, valid for two months. A pack of six is RM248, can be shared between two people, and is valid for three months. Either pack can be used for Chair Yoga or Posture Core Yoga in any mix. Private one to one sessions are quoted on request.
Which class is on this Saturday?
They alternate: Posture Core Yoga one week, Chair Yoga the next, both at 4:00pm. Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you which one runs on the Saturday you have in mind.
Is Chair Yoga suitable for seniors and during pregnancy?
It is built with both in mind. Everything is done seated or with the chair for support, and the pace is gentle. If you are pregnant, or have a heart, blood pressure or joint condition, check with your doctor first and tell the instructor before the class starts so poses can be adapted for you.
Can yoga help my back pain?
Honestly, only a little. The best review of yoga for long standing low back pain found small improvements in function and pain compared with doing nothing, small enough that the authors called them clinically unimportant, and no clear difference from other exercise. So think of a class as a way to keep moving and get stronger, not as a fix for the pain itself. If your back pain is new, getting worse, or spreading into a leg, we would rather assess it first than put you in a class. Read more about how we approach back pain at the clinic.
What should I wear and bring?
Something you can move in. Chairs are provided for Chair Yoga. If you have a mat, bring it for Posture Core Yoga; if you do not, ask us on WhatsApp what the room has before you come.
Who teaches the yoga classes?
We have not published the instructor profile on the site yet. Ask us on WhatsApp who is teaching the class you plan to join and about their training, and we will tell you. The chiropractors and physiotherapists at the clinic are a separate team from the yoga instruction, and you can read about them on the about page.
How do I book a yoga class?
On WhatsApp. Tell us which Saturday, whether you are new, and whether you want a single class or a pack. We confirm the class that week and hold a place. Private sessions are arranged the same way, at a time that suits you.
