We assess before we begin, then explain what we find in plain terms, including the parts your care is unlikely to change.

The first visit is an assessment
The physiotherapist takes a history, asks what makes things better or worse and what you need to get back to, then looks at how you move in your own space: the chair you sit in, the bed you get out of, the stairs you use. That is often more useful than a clinic room, because the problem is usually happening at home.
Hands-on care in the same visit
Once we know what is driving the problem, the first hands-on work happens in the same appointment rather than at a second one. Expect joint mobilisation, soft tissue work and the first one or two exercises, explained so you can repeat them when we are not there.
Follow-up rehab visits
Follow-ups build the strength and control around the problem, using what you already have at home. The physiotherapist brings any small equipment a session needs. Progress is reviewed each visit and the plan adjusts as you improve, rather than running to a fixed count.
When a clinic visit makes more sense
Some things cannot be done at home, such as an X-ray or a chiropractic assessment. If the physiotherapist thinks you would do better in the clinic, or with a doctor first, they will say so and help arrange it. You can move to clinic visits at any point once travelling becomes manageable.

This is likely a good fit if…
- You are a female patient, or booking for one, and getting to the clinic is the obstacle.
- You want the first visit to be an assessment of how you actually move at home.
- You are willing to do a small exercise programme between visits, using what you have at home.
- You would rather be told a clinic visit or a doctor is the better next step than have us press on regardless.

- You are booking for a male patient. House calls are for female patients; the same physiotherapy is available to everyone at the clinic in Cheras.
- You are well beyond 10 km from the clinic and want a fixed travel fee before talking to us. Beyond 10 km we quote per address.

Frequently asked questions
Who can book a physiotherapy house call?
House calls are for female patients. You can book for yourself or on behalf of someone else, such as a parent, as long as the patient herself is happy to be seen at home. Male patients are welcome at the clinic in Cheras, where the same physiotherapists work.
Which areas do you cover?
Anywhere within 10 km of the clinic at Sunway Velocity is covered with no travel charge. As a rough guide that reaches most of Cheras, Maluri and Ampang and the city centre. Beyond 10 km we still come, but the travel fee is quoted per address before the visit is confirmed, so send us your area first and we will check.
How much does a physiotherapy house call cost?
The initial assessment is RM190 and includes the first hands-on session in the same visit. Follow-up rehab visits are RM180 each. If you know you will need a run of visits, a package of three is RM510 and a package of five is RM840, both including the initial assessment and both valid for six weeks. Travel within 10 km of the clinic is free; beyond that it is quoted before you book.
What happens on the first visit?
Mostly assessment. The physiotherapist takes a history, asks what makes the problem better or worse and what you need to get back to, then watches how you move in your own space: getting out of the chair you actually sit in, walking the corridor you actually use. Hands-on care follows in the same visit, along with the first one or two exercises. Allow about an hour.
Do I need any equipment at home?
No. The physiotherapist brings what a session needs. It helps to have a firm chair and a bit of clear floor space, and to wear something you can move in. If a simple item such as a resistance band would help your exercises between visits, we will tell you exactly what to get.
How do the packages work?
A package of three covers the initial assessment and two follow-up visits. A package of five covers the assessment and four follow-ups. Both are valid for six weeks from the first visit, which is enough for weekly visits with room for a reschedule. If you are not sure how many you will need, start with the initial assessment on its own and decide after it.
Can I switch to clinic visits later?
Yes, at any point. Some people start at home because the first weeks after surgery or a fall are the hard part, then come to the clinic once travelling is manageable. Anything that needs the clinic, such as an X-ray or a chiropractic assessment, is arranged there.
Do I need a doctor referral?
No referral is needed. If the physiotherapist thinks you need imaging or a medical opinion first, they will say so at the assessment and help you arrange it rather than carry on regardless.
How do I book a house call?
On WhatsApp. Tell us the area, roughly what the problem is and which days suit, and we reply with availability and confirm whether any travel fee applies. There is no online form for house calls, because the address and the timing need a quick conversation.
